Hey everyone! First blog post here - thanks for taking the time to read it. I'm going to start by summarizing our kickoff video for those who could not watch it. We introduced our awesome state officer team, and talked about some of our goals for this challenging year ahead: running successful conferences, providing members with relevant opportunities, and developing a constant feedback loop to make sure we're doing our best for you. In fact, one of those feedback forms can be found here - we'd love to hear your thoughts on preferred webinar topics, which will be held twice per month on a variety of business topics to sharpen your acumen and broaden your knowledge. We're in the process of rolling out our first such webinar: stay tuned for details on registration and what the presentation will be about!
With that being said, another primary purpose of these blog posts is to provide direct access to scholarship and internship opportunities for our members, so that's what I'll do here!
Here is a great website to view some scholarships currently accepting applications, and here is a website with a ton of business-related internships that you can search for. There's also this website that lists some internships in Virginia specifically. Let us know if you find any of these helpful!
